NYC Animation, 2023 This animation consists of 33 stickers that I posted around New York city in the summer of 2023. For a long time, I was interested in creating a graffiti tag that represented my art. In this project, I was curious about the temporality of these images as they were subject to fading and being removed.
As I posted each sticker, I recorded the number, date, location, and how I felt while posting it. Below are all the images with that information.
Image 1 May 21st, 2023 In the East Village, after eating Indian food for dinner on a very busy front stoop.

Image 27 August 2nd In VOODOO Donuts bathroom. First time there, probably the last, too.
I've never been a fan of donuts. My maple old-fashioned was only $2.00.
Image 28 August 2nd At my favortie late night dessert spot with my oldest friend. I always order the ginger cake with a drizzle of caramel sauce.
Image 29 August 4th One of the newest books in my collection, and my current read - The Paris Review, Summer 2023 issue.

Image 30 August 5th As this project comes to an end, I might as well pay recognition to the camera that captured each moment,
as well as the application that puts it all together.
Image 31 August 5th I tested positive for covid today which means a 5 day isolation... the perfect time to catch up
on art projects, clean, and write letters to friends.
Image 32 August 6th I've always found it hard to separate my making space with my sleeping space, but it turns out that having a file cabinet helps with my organization.
Image 33 August 6th MY LAST IMAGE
On another letter...
Though this project has dragged out to be longer than I expected,
I've loved planning, posting, capturing, and making this piece into what it is.
