NYC Animation, 2023
This animation consists of 33 stickers that I posted around New York city in the summer of 2023. For a long time, I was interested in creating a graffiti tag that represented my art. In this project, I was curious about the temporality of these images as they were subject to fading and being removed.

As I posted each sticker, I recorded the number, date, location, and how I felt while posting it. Below are all the images with that information.

Across from Washington Square Park, on a surface whose purpose is unknown, aside from it being a canvas.
And I suppose a sitting spot too.

Trying to find creative
motivation once home, it wasn't coming naturally.
I just have to give it some time.

In VOODOO Donuts bathroom. First time there, probably the last, too.
I've never been a fan of donuts. My maple old-fashioned was only $2.00.

As this project comes to an end, I might as well pay recognition to the camera that captured each moment,
as well as the application that puts it all together.

I tested positive for covid today which means a 5 day isolation...
the perfect time to catch up
on art projects, clean, and write letters to friends.

I've always found it hard to separate my making space with my sleeping space,
but it turns out that having a
file cabinet helps with my organization.

MY LAST IMAGE
On another letter...
Though this project has dragged out to be longer than I expected,
I've loved planning, posting, capturing, and making this piece into what it is.
